About The Barn At Moonlight

The Location

2462 Harmony Grove Church Rd, Dallas, GA

The Barn at Moonlight sits just off Harmony Grove Church Road in Dallas, Georgia, right at the corner of Cobb and Paulding County. It’s roughly a 45-minute drive west of Atlanta – close enough that your out-of-town guests can fly into Hartsfield-Jackson and be sipping a welcome cocktail before the rehearsal dinner, but far enough that the moment you turn down the driveway, the city melts away into rolling fields, tree-lined trails, and the kind of quiet that makes a wedding day feel like an escape.

The Venue

The grounds themselves are part of the appeal. Rolling fields, tree-lined trails, a courtyard with a flowing fountain, and a lake give you a deep bench of natural backdrops for ceremony photos, golden-hour portraits, and – fittingly for the name – those soft-light evening shots after the sun goes down.

Benefits Of the venue for your Wedding

As Atlanta wedding photographers, we’ve shot at countless venues across Georgia — we’ve seen a LOT of them — and The Barn at Moonlight is one of the most photogenic rustic venues in the metro area. Here’s why:

The barn is fully heated and air-conditioned, and it pairs with lakeside, courtyard, and covered-pavilion options — so you never have to let the weather dictate your day.

Rolling fields, tree-lined trails, a fountain courtyard, and a lake outside; twenty glittering chandeliers and openable barn doors inside. Wherever the light is best, there’s a beautiful spot waiting.

The barn seats up to about 200 guests across two floors, but it photographs just as beautifully for a smaller, more intimate wedding.

The Barn At Moonlight Ceremony

The Barn at Moonlight offers a variety of dreamy ceremony locations, so you can match the spot to your season and the feel you’re going for. Say “I do” inside the restored barn beneath the chandeliers, out by the lake, under the covered pavilion, or in the fountain courtyard — each space has its own magic, so you really can’t go wrong. Both sides of the barn can be opened up, one onto the fountain courtyard and the other onto a patio overlooking the lake, so your ceremony flows naturally between indoors and out.

The Lake

With the water behind you and the sun dropping low over the tree line, the light goes soft and golden — and as dusk settles in, the venue lives up to its name. If you’re dreaming of a romantic, scenic backdrop, this is it.

Suitable for up to 200 guests.

The Barn At Moonlight Reception

After the ceremony, the two-story barn becomes the heart of the celebration. The downstairs seats up to 140 guests and the upstairs adds room for another 60 — about 200 total — all glowing under twenty chandeliers. There’s a full bar on the first level, a state-of-the-art sound system, and a large commercial kitchen for your caterer. Prefer to keep the party outside? You’ve got options.

The Barn & Pavilion

The climate-controlled barn is your main reception space, with both sides opening onto the fountain courtyard and the lakeside patio. For cocktail hour, an outdoor reception, or a rain plan, the covered pavilion adds roughly 3,000 square feet with its own full-service bar, a gas fire pit, a mounted TV, and a sound system — a true second event space rather than just overflow.

Suitable for up to 175 guests.
